Wrexham moved confidently up to seventh place on the Blue Square Premier table with a battling away win at Stevenage.
The visitors had taken the lead after 56-minutes when Jefferson Lois fired home Jon Brown's cross from the right.
But Stevenage pulled level a mere eight minutes later when Callum Willock blasted home a superb long-distance strike.
The home side went on to hit the bar through Anthony Thomas and Peter Vincenti was denied by Darren Ward.
That looked to be that until Mark Williams popped up with the all-important winner with nine minutes left on the clock.
Stevenage bookings: Drury, Thomas.
Wrexham bookings: Westwood, Smith, Whalley.
Attendance: 1,673
Referee: R Lee (Brentwood).
