Dean Saunders

Wrexham v Mansfield

Wrexham manager Dean Saunders is hoping his side can overcome their goalscoring drought when they host Mansfield Town on Saturday.

Marc Williams, who picked up an injury during the loss to Altrincham on Tuesday, is still nursing his ankle and unlikely to feature, while Frank Sinclair and Wes Baynes are also doubts.

Gareth Taylor has recovered from a calf injury and returns to the squad while Andy Fleming is back after a one match suspension.

Mansfield Town boss David Holdsworth is hoping his side get back to winning ways.

He was disappointed with his side's 2-0 home FA Trophy exit against Tamworth and by the reaction of the home fans at the end.

Stags lost keeper Alan Marriott with a twisted ankle before half time against Tamworth in the FA Trophy, but Holdsworth is hoping his keeper recovers in time for this clash.

Tim Sandercombe, who made his debut against Tamworth at the weekend, is likely to come in to replace him.

Michael Brough and Kyle Nix have been playing with the aid of pain killing injections on their respective ankle injuries during the past few weeks, while Craig Armstrong has a virus and has been recuperating at home in an effort to avoid further infection.
