Rushden boss Justin Edinburgh
Rushden & Diamonds will be looking to close the gap on the play-off places when rock-bottom Chester City make the trip to Nene Park on Saturday.
Striker Neil Cousins misses out with a knee injury, while Nathan Downer has pareted ways with the club after his contract came to an end.
However, Simon Downer and Rob Wolleaston return to contention after respective injury problems.
Chester boss Jim Harvey will have to make do without the services of striker Nick Chadwick, who is serving a suspension.
Midfielder Michael Lea returns to contention after recovering from a groin injury.
