Onome Sodje
Jermaine Beckford was on target for Leeds in a 1-1 friendly draw with Blue Square Premier side York at KitKat Crescent on Friday night.
The striker, who bagged 20 goals last season, had the first chance of the match, seeing his header tipped over by keeper Michael Ingham.
Paul Huntington also went close for United, before Beckford opened the scoring after being set up by Andrew Hughes.
York were able to equalise though, Nigerian Onome Sodje levelling the scores just before half-time.
Leeds manager Gary McAllister changed all 11 players at the interval, although it was the Minstermen who came out strongest after the break with former United man Craig Farrell shooting just wide.
New signing Andy Robinson went close from a free-kick for the visitors, but chances were at a premium as the game petered out into a draw.
