Foyle happy with loan signings
York City manager Martin Foyle has expressed his delight at the signing of two loan players.
Oxford United midfielder Chris Carruthers has been signed on an 18 month contract, having impressed during his loan spell with the club and has been released by the U's.
Mansfield Town defender Luke Graham, who has joined on a free transfer, will stay at the club until the end of the season.
Foyle told the club's official website: "I'm absolutely delighted to get two experienced professional players with great attitudes to join the club after their loan spells. The lads will add competition and more strength to the squad which will help us in the run in to the end of the season"
Meanwhile, Newport County's Spytty Park pitch is set for an inspection ahead of York City's FA Trophy second round tie that is scheduled to take place on Saturday.
