Kettering Town play host to York City in a play-off battle at Rockingham Road on Saturday afternoon.

Both clubs currently occupy play-off places, but a victory for either side would see them gain a vital psychological boost.

The pressures of a long season fighting for promotion can take its toll and it is matches like these that can make or break your season.

Town defender John Dempster is sure that the clash on Saturday is going to be tough but is looking forward to the challenge presented by in-form forward Richard Brodie.

"I am looking forward to it," Dempster told Northants ET.

"I have played against him a few times but I have always been a right-back for when we have played them in the past.

"It will interesting and fair play to him because it's a fantastic record.

"He didn't do a great deal when we played them earlier in the season but he popped up with both goals so you can't really argue with that.

"We will certainly try our best to keep him quiet."

Lee Harper is expecting Andre Boucaud to be available for selection after recovering from a broken nose ahead of schedule.

York City manager Martin Foyle will be able to call upon Neil Barrett and Richard Brodie for the clash.

Brodie's return will mean that Michael Gash or Michael Rankine will drop out of the side.

Goalkeeper Michael Ingham will take to the field despite picking up a knock in a recent match against Histon.

Foyle told the York Press: "I always respect Kettering.

"They are a decent side with good footballers in the midfield who can cause you problems."
