Gary Mills

Tamworth v Luton

Tamworth boss Gary Mills is targeting a third straight win when his team hosts title challengers Luton at the Lamb Ground on Saturday.

The 15th-placed Lambs recorded back-to-back victories over Barrow and Forest Green over the Easter period and Mills is confident of repeating the trick over the high-flying Hatters.

"We are going into Luton full of confidence and my message is simple, let's make it three wins on the bounce," he said on thisistamworth.co.uk.

"That's not being blase or sentimental - just professional and confident. We have nothing to fear from them.

"They are a good side and I respect that but my players have performed superbly for me this season.

"And I have no doubt that they can produce a performance again this weekend because they have been exceptional for me."

In team news, Mills is expected to welcome back skipper Chris Smith and Michael Blackwood, while Alex Rodman remains injured.

Meanwhile, Luton boss Richard Money is completely focused on applying further pressure on Stevenage who are just two points clear at the summit.

"We'll have to be at 100 per cent but all we're concentrating on is gaining as many points as we possibly can thank you very much - that's all we're thinking about," he said on his club's official website.

The visitors have no injury concerns heading into the match and will also be boosted by the availability of defender Shane Blackett who missed the Easter Monday win over Grays with a knee injury.
