Beesley on target for United
Andrew Parkinson's double and goals from Robbie Wilmott and Mark Beesley secured Cambridge a memorable 4-2 win over Everton.
Andrew Johnson's return to action stole the headlines as he completed 90 minutes of action.
The England forward appeared to suffer no ill-effects while midfielder Mikel Arteta enjoyed 15 minutes on his return.
Youngster Lukas Jutkiewicz scored both Everton's goals but David Moyes' side are still looking for their first win of pre-season following the loss at the Abbey Stadium.
