Cambridge Utd v Tamworth

Cambridge United will entertain Tamworth on Saturday without the services of Robbie Willmott, who will miss the rest of the season.

The winger tore his knee cartilage in the 1-1 draw with Forest Green Rovers last weekend and will have to go under the knife on Monday.

Boss Martin Ling admitted that he will need to find a new recruit to make up for Willmott's absence.

He told Cambridge News Online: "I can't see Robbie being available for us now, and it does leave us a bit short with Antonio Murray being suspended at the moment.

"We'll look to see if we can fetch someone into the club in those areas, but it probably wouldn't be before the weekend.

"Playing with 4-4-2 the last couple of games we've looked more solid - not that I'm saying we've been scintillating - so I'll probably slip somebody out there rather that change the tactics."

Simon Russell is expected to be back on the left wing after recovering from an ankle problem, while Rory McAuley and Sam Ives battle it out to fill the void left by Willmott on the right flank.

Paul Carden has recovered from a virus and should slot back into midfielder.

Tamworth, meanwhile, will welcome back instrumental striker Iyseden Christie from suspension.

Nick Wright is still on the sidelines with a long-term foot injury, while Alex Rodman (knee) faces a late fitness test.
