There will be no shortage of motivation as Cambridge host Oxford in a vital clash on Tuesday night.
Cambridge have a battle on their hands down the wrong end of the table after Chester's withdrawal from the league means the U's will lose six points and be pulled back into the relegation zone. Martin Ling will be desperate for his side to make a statement against the league leaders.
The Yellows meanwhile will be looking to stretch their lead at the top of the table where they presently lie three points ahead of second-placed Stevenage. They will be boosted by the return to training of skipper Adam Murray after six weeks out with a back injury. Murray will be pushing for a place on the bench at the Abbey Stadium.
The U's will be without midfielders Brian Saah (groin) and Paul Carden (back) and Robbie Willmott (knee), Antonio Murray (suspended) will watch from the sidelines.
