Halifax 1-6 Kidderminster

Russell Penn put on a virtuoso display to pile misery on relegation threatened Halifax as he scored four times for a rampant Kidderminster.

Penn struck his first in the fifteenth minute when he latched onto a throw-in and drilled home from 20-yards. Seven minutes later he was back on the score sheet when he was expertly set up by Lyseden Christie who scored a goal of his own in the 36th minute.

Penn completed his first-half hat-trick with another long-range effort as the Harriers completely overran the home side.

Andy Ferrell handed Halifax the slimmest of lifelines when he handled in the area, allowing Jon Shaw to step up and convert from the penalty spot.

Ferrel redeemed himself with a spot-kick of his own as Kidderminster restored their four-goal lead.

Penn then delivered the coup-de-grace as he slotted home from close range in the 80th minute.

Halifax bookings: Mawson, Griffith.

Kidderminster bookings: Ferrell.
