Mike Woodward
Grays Athletic chairman and manager Mike Woodward has voiced his disappointment with Blues fans after they booed former manager Mark Stimson on Saturday.
Stimson resigned from Grays at the end of the 2005/06 season to take up the vacant post at fellow conference side Stevenage Borough.
He went on to steer Boro to victory in the final of the FA Trophy final with a 3-2 victory over Kidderminster Harriers, which was his third consecutive win the final of the competition.
Woodward is currently managing Grays and has revealed that there are no hard feelings between him and Stimson.
He told the Thurrock Gazette: "Mark set the foundations here. It was all about football and it's a legacy that I want to carry on.
"I'm learning from him all the time and know I can ring him up and he can give me advice.
"Past is past and we're both going forward. There's nothing wrong with ambition.
"I was disappointed with our home supporters as he's been very loyal to us. He'll do a good job and good luck to him."
