Wilnis set for Grays move

Blue Square Premier League outfit Grays Athletic are on the verge of signing Fabian Wilnis from Championship side Ipswich Town.

The Dutchman impressed the coaching staff at Grays during a recent trial period and looks set to snub Ryman Premier League side Needham Market in favour of a move to the Blue Square Premier.

Reports suggested that the 37-year-old would put pen to paper on a deal with Grays which would see him take up a player-coach role, but that seems unlikely now as he is keen to focus purely on his on-field exploits.
