David Button

Stevenage 0-0 Grays

Grays goalkeeper David Button was the hero of the night after he saved a first half penalty to earn his side a valuable point at Broadhall Way.

Jamie Stuart fouled Ronnie Henry and Steve Morison was handed the responsibility of taking the spot-kick.

Button, who is on loan from Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur, read his mind and dove in the right direction before punching the ball clear.

Ishmael Welsh had Grays' best chance but Chris Day made a fine save to keep the scores level.

Button continued his superb performance by tipping Calum Willock's shot around the outside of the upright before saving Luke Oliver's header in injury time.

Stevenage bookings: Mills.

Grays Athletic bookings: Ashton, Sloma, Button, Thurgood.
