Barry Cogan
Grays Athletic picked up a valuable three points with a 2-1 victory over fellow strugglers Barrow on Saturday afternoon.
Despite the home side's dominance for much of the match, the visitors opened the scoring.
Jason Walker sent the visiting fans into raptures when he found the back of the net from a Paul Tait pass on 26 minutes.
However, Barrow's lead did not last very long as the home side turned their dominance into a goal.
Barry Cogan breached the visiting defence to equalise on 41 minutes.
Cogan grabbed his second of the game and sent the home side into the lead on 56 minutes when he picked up a Luke Hickie pass before slotting home.
The home side defended strongly for the last 30 minutes to make sure the three points did slip through their fingers.
