Ebbsfleet 0-1 Grays

Struggling Grays Athletic secured a much-needed three points late on against Ebbsfleet United at Stonebridge Road on Boxing Day.

The first half failed to produce any scintillating goalmouth action with Michael Gash and Stacy Long leaving the home fans disgruntled after wasting their chances.

And the Fleet were left to rue their profligacy as all their dominance was undone by a Jamie Slabber header off Wesley Thomas' cross in the 78th minute.

The hosts continued to enjoy the better chances, but were unable to secure a draw and lie in 13th spot while Grays move out the relegation zone to 20th in the standings.
