Barrow 1-1 Grays Athletic

Barrow and Grays Athletic played out a 1-1 draw in their relegation battle at Holker Street on Saturday afternoon.

After an evenly contested first half of football, the home side managed to grab the lead on the 59 minute mark.

Jason Walker sent the home fans into raptures when he found the back of the net from close range.

However, the home supporter's joy was short lived as Grays managed to force their way back into the game.

Andy Pugh equalised for the visitors on 64 minutes with a fine strike from outside the penalty area.

Both teams pushed for a winning goal in the remaining minutes of the match but it was not meant to be as the match ended in a draw.

Barrow bookings: Kerr 70
