Kettering boss Mark Cooper
Kettering took their unbeaten record to seven consecutive games when they played out to a dull goalless draw with Grays Athletic on Tuesday evening.
The Poppies started the more brightly of the two sides and only Blues goalkeeper Rob Beckwith stood between Mark Cooper's side and the lead after he made two fine saves from Andre Boucard and Dale Bennett attempts.
But Mark Coopers' men slowly played their way back into the game and they looked a different side from the one that has only won twice on the road this season.
Jamie Slabber looked the most likely to find the back of the net from the Grays players, going close on three occasions, but he failed to convert any of his chances.
Kettering's Jason Lee had a late chance to snatch the three points for his side, but his header went wide late on.
Kettering bookings: Geohaghan.
Grays Athletic bookings: Elliott.
