Field Mill

Mansfield v Grays Athletic

Mansfield Town will be looking to consolodate their play-off berth when Grays Athletic make the trip to Field Mill on Saturday afternoon.

Striker Rob Duffy returns to action following a one-match suspension, while fellow frontman Kyle Perry is expected to shrug off a thigh injury in time for Saturday's clash.

Central defender Scott Garner misses out with one-match ban, while utility player Michael Brough could also miss out with an ankle injury.

"Michael would be the obvious choice but went over on his ankle on Tuesday and has to be a doubt," coach Gareth Holmes told Mansfield Chad.

"It's not ideal but we do have a few options of lads who would fit in there like Craig Armstrong, Paul Heckingbottom and Matt Somner."

Looking ahead to the clash, Holmes added: "A lot of clubs are starting to get men behind the ball against us as they know we are doing things right here and understand we are a good side.

"So they know they have to defend for their lives and really work hard to be able to compete.

"We are very happy where we are. We are fifth in the league with a game in hand on York and, if we win as we hope to on Saturday, we will have 43 points for the first half of the season which puts us right in the mix."

Julian Dicks' Grays will be keen to bounce back to winning ways after picking up two points from their last three Blue Square Premier encounters.
