Cambridge loan Farrell to Grays
Cambridge United have confirmed news that midfielder Ben Farrell has joined fellow Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic on loan for a month.
Farrell joined the U's from Bedford Town in January 2008 but has not featured this season since the appointment of manager Martin Ling.
And it appears that Farrell's days at the Abbey Stadium are limited.
Cambridge boss Martin Ling told the club's official website: "Ben doesn't really figure in my future plans for the Club.
"I see him behind Paul Carden, Sam Ives, Jai Reason and even Rory McAuley in the pecking order, any move had to be at the right level and this is a good opportunity for him to get some minutes under his belt and showcase himself."
