Grays v Salisbury

Relegation-strugglers Grays Athletic will be desperate for points when they host Salisbury at New Recreation Ground on Saturday.

The hosts are second-from-bottom and will be eyeing an upset over a buoyant City who exited administration earlier this month.

In team news, Jordan Wilson will miss out through suspension following his sending off in last week's defeat to Hayes and Yeading.

Goalkeeper Richard Martin's loan from Yeovil has expired, so Prestin Edwards will start in goal.

For the seventeenth-placed visitors, City boss Tommy Widdrington believes the club's improved financial standing was the key reason behind star striker Matt Tubb penning a new two-year deal with the club.

"I am absolutely delighted to have agreed a new deal with Matt," he told the Salisbury Journal.

"I'm sure Matt would have attracted lots of interest had he decided to let his contract run its course, but loyalty is a two-way thing and I firmly believe had Matt not felt the club was about to embark on a new era, he would not have agreed to commit to our cause."

Widdrington will have to do without midfielder Stuart Anderson who is suspended, while defender Jamie Turley is doubtful due to a back injury.

The Whites will, however, be boosted by the return of Ronnie Bull and Chris Brush who were both ineligible for the midweek FA Trophy win over Cambridge.
