Altrincham v Grays Athletic

Struggling Grays Athletic travel to Altrincham this Blue Square Saturday after two weeks of inactivity due to the weather.

The 23rd-placed side are seemingly destined for the drop as they sit 10 points adrift of Forest Green Rovers but will fancy their chances against an Alty side on the back of a 1-0 loss to Gateshead.

Grays' last two matches ended in defeat while Altrincham have struggled for consistency in recent weeks, picking up good wins while at the same time under performing in matches they would have expected to earn all three points.

Alty defender Peter Doran will miss the tie as he completes his three-match ban for violent conduct while Matt Doughty remains out of contention with suspected cruciate ligament injury. Dale Johnson has meanwhile been ruled out for the season with a knee injury.

Grays Athletic look set to hand a debut to goalkeeper Glyn Garner but defender Gavin Hoyte sits out with a toe injury while Jordan Wilson makes his comeback following a ban. Harlee Dean will also be available for selection after recovering from an ankle injury.
