Kettering v Grays Athletic

Kettering Town host Grays Athletic on Saturday hoping for a first home win at Rockingham Road since September.

Lee Harper's side will be out to give the home fans something to cheer about after having gone seven games without a home win.

The Poppies will fancy their chances especially after the addition of two strikers to their squad this week. New signings Charles Elliot and Chijioke Pascal Ebigbo will boost Harper's attacking options. The two front-men will fill the gap left by Damian Spencer who is currently on load at Aldershot.

Grays Athletic meanwhile finally ended their run of defeats last Saturday with a draw against Altrincham. Julian Dicks' team will be desperate to pick up at least a point as they presently lie 13 points the wrong side of safety.

The Grays' task will be all the more difficult without captain Harlee Dean. The on-loan midfielder serves a one match ban for his sending off against Altrincham. He is likely to be replaced in the middle of the park by Alex Rhodes or Wayne Gray while Gavin Hoyte remains sidelined with a broken toe.

There will be a minute's silence at Rockingham Road in memory of former Kettering man Keith Alexander who past away on Tuesday night. Alexander played 74 times for the Poppies during the 1980s.
