Ten-man Woking managed to hold out against a spirited Halifax Town side as they came away with the three-points at Kingfield Road on Saturday afternoon.
The home side came out firing from the start and took a deserved lead in the 27th minute.
Guiseppe Sole was the hero as he found the back of the net with a well placed shot after Marvin Morgan had supplied him with the ball.
The home side continued to dominate the first-half and deserved to go into the break with the lead.
The second-half was a rather even affair, but was marred in the 70th minute when Paul Lorraine was dismissed for a second bookable offence.
The visitors, however, could not make their extra man count as the Cards strolled to victory.
Woking bookings: Lorraine 54, Sole 73, Marum 85
