Woking 2-3 Northwich

Northwich's Michael Welch netted a superb injury-time free kick to help his side collect a morale-boosting win against Woking on Saturday afternoon.

The Vics made the best possible start when Michael Welch met a Danny Williams cross at the centre of the penalty area and placed his header in the top-left corner.

Woking drew level on the half-hour when Marvin Morgan headed in a Guiseppe Sole free kick from the left-hand side of the six-yard box.

Northwich reclaimed the lead in the 74th minute thanks to an 18-yard Lee Steele striker but Woking's Liam Marum restored parity with a smart 12-yard finish in the 88th minute.

The match looked to be heading for a draw but Welch calmly stepped up and guided his injury-time free kick into the top-right corner to help his side collect all three points.
