Forest Green continued their push for promotion in the Blue Square Premier after overcoming Woking in a close encounter.
Both sides enjoyed early opportunities to take the lead with Matt Pattison flashing a header wide for the visitors in the opening minute.
Adriano Rigoglioso threatened the Cardinals' goals on a number of occasions and broke the deadlock on the 30-minute mark.
Damian Batt cancelled out the strike shortly afterwards, taking the teams into halftime level at 1-1.
Neither side managed to get on the scoresheet for much of the second-half until Conference top scorer Stuart Fleetwood struck in the 86th minute to decide the outcome of the game.
