Altrincham 1-0 Woking

Altrincham managed to hold on to claim a 1-0 victory over Woking at Moss Lane on Saturday afternoon.

The Robins started the brighter of the two teams and deserved to take the lead in the 27th minute.

Chris Senior was the man who sent ripples through the net after picking up a pass from Dale Johnson.

The visitors refused to give up and they tested the home defence on numerous occasions, but the home side stood up to the challenge well.

Woking dominated possession for large spells in the match, but they failed to turn that statistic into goals.

Wilfried Domoraud had a chance to equalise with seconds left on the clock, but his effort sailed wide of the target.

Altrincham bookings: Densmore 61

Woking bookings: Vernazza 16, Lorraine 42, Konan 53
