Alex Rhodes
Woking picked up a much-needed victory when they managed to overcome Forest Green Rovers 2-0 at the New Lawn on Saturday.
The victory moved the Cards out of the bottom four, which will come as a big relief to both the players and supporters.
The visitors looked the more dominant side from the outset and it didn't take them long to take the lead when after 16 minutes Alex Rhodes fired in a volley from 25 yards out to make it 1-0.
Rovers had a number of chances to get back into the game, but they will be ruing their poor finishing as they failed to trouble Danny Knowles.
The Cards wrapped up the three points in the 90th minute drilled home a shot from the edge of the penalty area after link-up with Danny Knowles.
Forest Green bookings: Lawless.
