Dover 0-0 Woking (1-2 agg)

Woking will face Bath City in the Blue Square South play-off final after securing a goalless draw at Perry's Crabble Stadium on Saturday.

The result was enough for the Cardinals to progress thanks to Moses Ademola and Matt Wright's first-leg goals that handed them a 2-1 win at Kingfield.

Neither side could find a way through in the opening spell and on two occasions Woking had to clear efforts off their goal-line.

First captain Nicky Southall was denied by Mark Ricketts before Tom Hutchinson kept out Shaun Welford's effort.

Craig Faulconbridge squandered a good chance for the visitors when he met Nicky Nicolau's cross from the left only to head it over the bar.

Nonetheless, the scores remain deadlocked at the interval and at the resumption of play, Adam Birchall came close for the home team.

Graham Baker's men hung on in the second period under immense pressure and they knew that just one goal would have handed the Whites an aggregate victory on away goals.

Wright, who scored in the first tie, started the match on the bench and was only introduced in the 69th minute when he replaced Giuseppe Sole.

But Baker was far more conservative in the closing stages and he withdrew forwards Craig Faulconbridge and Moses Ademola in the 87th minute and put on the defence-minded pair of Joe McNerney and Charlie Moone in their stead.

But Woking almost saw their good work go to waste when, in the last minute, Welford hammered his shot into the crossbar to leave Dover heartbroken.
