Mark Yates
Kidderminster Harriers manager Mark Yates has admitted he is wary of the club's FA cup second round opponents Curzon Ashton.
Harriers have progressed through to the next phase of the showpiece courtesy of a Justin Richards winner against fellow Blue Square Premier League outfit Cambridge United.
However, Yates' charges have been drawn against 'giant killers' Curzon, who dispatched League Two side Exeter.
The winner of the second round tie will not only progress to the third round but will also be entitled to a £30,000 paycheck.
Although fairly confident, Yates is still wary of falling victim to lower league opposition and is adamant that his side will not take the tie likely.
He told the Express and Star: "We are not the sort of side that will underestimate teams, so trust me Curzon will be afforded the proper respect.
"All we wanted on Saturday was to be in the hat for the second round and we have done that.
"I will have them watched, so I will have some idea of what to expect. At the end of the day, we have a home draw in a game we can win and that must be our focus.
"We know what is at stake, so we will make sure that we are fully aware of their threat. No way will we be taking them lightly."
The match will take place at Aggborough on November 29, but Harriers will first have to navigate a tricky trip to Rushden and Diamonds this Saturday in the Blue Square Premier.
