High-flying Kidderminster Harriers edged out a closely-fought encounter against Rushden & Diamonds at Nene Park on Saturday.
The only goal of the game came via a penalty after Curtis Osano was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box.
Referee M Brown pointed to the spot and Justin Richards duly converted for the visitors on the 42-minute mark.
After the break, neither side were able to add to the scoreline, which ensured Harriers walked away with three points.
The visitors now advance up to fifth place in the league, while Diamonds are in tenth spot.
