Kidderminster Harriers manager Mark Yates has heaped praise on his team's defensive performances so far this season.
Harriers are currently sitting pretty in fifth place on the Blue Square Premier table and Yates feels his team's defensive attributes have played a huge part in their success.
"It's pleasing to see that the lads are listening to what we're telling them," Yates told the Kidderminster Shuttle.
"We work hard on what we expect from them and they're responding to that.
"We have defended very solidly and that starts from the strikers right down to the back four.
"Even when we are opened up we know we have a very good keeper who will take some beating."
Evans however, is not expecting an easy ride when his men square up to Dean Saunders' Wrexham outfit on Saturday.
Although Harriers boast one of the best defensive records in the league, it is Wrexham's strike-force that have left teams quaking in their boots, and they are currently unbeaten in five games.
"Their manager has come in and turned things around," Yates added.
"He always had the players and they're on a very good run.
"But we know that our home form is very good and I'm not concentrating on them, just making sure we'll be ready for a tough game.
"Wrexham are bound to bring a few (supporters) so we'll need our fans to be in good voice."
