Oxford United v Kidderminster

Oxford United boss Chris Wilder has challenged his side to be more ruthless in front of goal as they prepare to face Kidderminster.

The U's scored just four goals in five games over the December and January period but got back to their goalscoring ways with a 4-0 win over Grays last weekend.

However, Harriers are one of only three sides to have beaten the U's this season and will look to do the double with a win this Saturday.

Wilder told the Oxford Mail: "We're still in a great position - we've scored most goals in the league and we've got the best defensive record at home.

"It's my honest opinion, and we do our own stats as well . . . we don't create one and score one. We create a lot of chances, especially at home.

"I think what we've been guilty of is not taking those chances.

"But we've still scored 50 goals in the league, which is a healthy return.

"We have to be more ruthless."

Harriers manager Steve Burr has meanwhile told his players to be patient with results and just take every game as they come.

He told the Express and Star: "They are all big games, and this is our biggest at the moment because it's the next one. Whether it's Oxford or whoever, it's the next game up and we are looking forward to it. Confidence is very high among the players at the minute, and the team will be up for it.

"We won't be worrying about the trophy game until nearer the time, we have got games in-between that even after this and for now we must concentrate on tomorrow. We can't look too far ahead."

Oxford welcome back winger Alfie Potter, who has recovered from a twisted ankle while Chris Hargreaves looks set to make his full debut.

Kidderminster could hand loan signing Marc Goodfellow a debut as well but Robbie Matthews is a doubt as he recovers from a virus while midfielder David McDermott is still out with stomach ulcers.
