Crawley Town 6-1 York City

Crawley supporters were treated to a veritable goal-fest at Broadfield Stadium as Steve Evans' men tore York City apart on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils opened their account in the 18th minute when John-Paul Pittman headed home after the home side took full advantage of a left corner taken by Dannie Bulman.

A foul commited on York's Martyn Woolford by Town's Bradley Thomas resulted in a free kick. Yorkies' Stuart Elliot took the freekick and Woolford equalised in the 27th minute.

Their celebrations were short-lived when York's David McGurk committed a foul on Ryan Hall. Hall stepped up to take the free kick and scored in the 29th minute.

Crawley added their third goal a minute later when Pierre Joseph-Dubois scored in the 30th minute.

Steve Evans' side started the second-half as they finished the first. Pittman was on target again and scored his second in the 81st minute.

Joseph-Dubois scored his second of the match in the 86th minute and in a tactical move, was replaced by Mustapha Carayol the following minute.

To add insult to injury, Crawley bagged their sixth goal when Ryan Hall takes a corner from the right and Jamie Cooks heads home in the 90th minute.
