Isaiah Rankin
Kettering and Crawley Town's play-off hopes were ended on Wednesday night when they played out to a 1-1 draw at Rockingham Road.
The game failed to live up to expectations as both sides seemed to be feeling the effects of a gruelling Blue Square Premier schedule.
The Reds went ahead in the 20th minute when Dannie Bulman fired home after a neat cut-back by Jon Shaw to make it 1-0.
Crawley had the chance to extend their lead through Isaiah Rankin late in the first half, but he was unable to to convert the opportunity.
The Poppies managed to grab an equaliser in the 63rd minute when Jean-Paul Marna collected Gareth Seddon's pass and beat the keeper to make it 1-1.
The visitors had the chance to snatch a victory in injury-time through both Brett Solkhon and Exodus Geohaghan, but Kettering keeper Simon Rayner made two good saves to earn his side a point.
Kettering bookings: Dempster, Seddon.
Crawley Town bookings: Hurren.
