Wrexham v Crawley

Wrexham will be aiming to keep their play-off dream alive when Steve Evans' Crawley Town make the trip to the Racecourse Ground on Saturday afternoon.

Manager Dean Saunders will have to make do without the services of Marc Williams for the rest of the season after the striker suffered a metatarsal injury.

Defender Frank Sinclair is on the treatment table with a thigh injury, while midfielder Christian Smith returns to contention after serving a two-match ban.

Leading scorer Gareth Taylor faces a late fitness test after missing Wrexham's last five fixtures with an ankle injury.

Crawley defender Glenn Wilson remains on the sidelines with a hamstring strain, with Karl Broadhurst set to take his place in the travelling squad.

Looking ahead to the clash, Evans told the club's official website: "Wrexham are a very big club for the level of football we play but we have an excellent record against them.

"Squad wise, they have an embarrassment of riches compared to ourselves.

"Under Dean Sanders they will play football as it should be and that is what we will be trying to do so the match should be decent.

"We are enjoying a fantastic run of form and we want that to continue at Wrexham.

"I know we will need to produce a top performance to add to our points tally but we go therewith confidence.

"Our lads are a great bunch and loving their football at present, we aim to be competitive and give it everything we have, as a manager I can ask no more."
