Hayes & Yeading 0-3 Crawley

Crawley Town maintained their impressive start to the season with a 3-0 victory over Hayes & Yeading at Church Road on Saturday afternoon.

Craig McAllister (17, 26) bagged a first-half brace before Sergio Torres completed the rout with a 71st-minute goal for the rampant visitors.

The result sees Crawley occupy third place on the Blue Square Bet Premier table, while United are struggling at 16th.

The hosts started the game brightly as James Mulley fired over early on. Shortly after Elliott Buchanan triggered a sharp stop by Crawley goalkeeper Michel Kuipers.

However, Steve Evans' men stole ahead when an unmarked McAllister dispatched a clinical free-kick from Pablo Mills.

McAllister then doubled the lead with a close-range header to give the Red Devils a comfortable cushion at the break.

United could find no way back in the second stanza and were effectively buried when Torres struck home from 12 yards out for the third.

Hayes and Yeading bookings: Deen, Green.

Crawley Town bookings: Hall.

Att: 320.

Ref: Darren Sheldrake (Surrey).
