Crawley Town 1-0 Forest Green

Four red cards were shown at Broadfield Stadium before Matt Tubbs hit the only goal of the game for Crawley Town.

The first half went by without any incident before a frantic 13-minute period in the second half in which both teams were reduced to nine men.

The Greens' Scott Bartlett was the first player to be dissmissed just after the hour mark after recieving a second yellow card. Seven minutes later and the Red Devils' Kyle McFadzean was given his marching orders after a dangerous tackle.

Crawley keeper Michel Kuipers was the next to see red, giving away a penalty in the process. However the resulting spot-kick from Nick Jordan was saved and just three minutes later the home side had a penalty of their own with Gavin Caines being dismissed for Rovers.

Tubbs stepped up and fired home the penalty for his fourth goal of the season to condemn the visitors to a 1-0 loss.

The win takes Crawley up to third, behind the Dons and Mansfield Town only by way of goal difference.
