Liam Marum
Two goals in quick succession handed Woking a valuable victory over Burton Albion at Kingfield Road on Saturday afternoon.
The home side started the brighter of the two side's and took a deserved lead in the 20th minute.
Liam Marum was the man credited with the goal after some excellent play from Jason Norville.
Tom Hutchinson made it 2-0 three minutes later when he rose highest to powerfully header the ball into the back of the net from an Adam Green corner.
The Brewers, noticeably stunned by the two goals, never really got going in the match and could not muster a meaningful attack until the 88th minute when John McGrath found the net from a Daryl Clare pass.
The home side, despite conceding late on, dominated the fixture and thoroughly deserved the three-points.
