Burton boss Nigel Clough
Blue Square Premier club Burton Albion have secured the services of midfielder Matt Bailey on a month's loan from Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 19-year-old had agreed to the move in order to gain some first-team experience and will remain with the Nigel Clough's side until August 20.
Bailey has already played in three friendlies for Albion, including a 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.
"We've officially taken Matt Bailey on a month's loan - we thought we could look at him all pre-season but the FA state you can only play two games, even though they're friendlies," Clough told Burton Mail.
"So we've had to start the loan two-and-a-half weeks before the season starts."
