Stevenage 0-0 Forest Green

Promotion hopefuls Stevenage and Forest Green played out to a goalless draw at Broadhall Way in a midweek fixture.

In the opening exchanges the two clubs cancelled one another out and the first chance fell to the hosts on seven minutes when Steve Morison fired wide.

Five minutes thereafter Adriano Rigoglioso came close to breaking the deadlock for Rovers. However, his chance also sailed wide.

The two sides went into the break deadlocked and it was to remain that way through the second period.

Alan Julian in Boro's goal was in outstanding form as he made fine saves from Rigoglioso and then from Stuart Fleetwood.

The result sees Stevenage move into third in the Blue Square Premier while Forest Green are seventh.
