Forest Green 2-2 Ebbsfleet United

Forest Green Rovers and Ebbsfleet United will rue missed chances after the sides played out a 2-2 draw at the Lawn on Tuesday night.

The home side opened the scoring in what was an entertaining fixture on 35 minutes.

Alex Lawless was the man who grabbed the goal when he found the back of the net with a stunning free-kick from 25 yards out.

The host's lead did not last for very long as the visitors hit back just six minutes later.

Luke Moore equalised with a fine drive from 12 yards out to send the two sides into the break on level terms.

United went into the lead for the first time in the match on 69 minutes when Stacy Long hit a long range effort into the back of the net.

The visitors seemed to be cruising towards the three-points when Jonathan Smith popped up with a spectacular goal of his own on 89 minutes to send both sides away with a share of the spoils.
