Forest Green 0-2 Kettering

Kettering Town piled more misery on relegation strugglers Forest Green Rovers with a 2-0 win at the New Lawn on Saturday.

The hosts made more of an impact in the opening exchanges, but found themselves two goals down within the space of three minutes.

Tommy Jaszczun's 29th-minute free-kick for the visitors found Alfie Potter, who slotted the ball in the back of net to open the scoring.

And Rovers found themselves another goal down on the 32-minute mark following Darren Kempson's handball.

Referee J Farries pointed to the spot and Gareth Seddon made no mistake with his penalty attempt.

The hosts failed to test opposition goalkeeper Lee Harper enough and lie third-from-bottom in the standings.

Kettering, meanwhile, are in third spot.
