Forest Green Rovers moved out of the relegation zone after they beat Barrow 2-1 at the New Lawn in the Blue Square Premier on Sunday.
Two first half-goals was enough to ensure Jim Harvey's side picked up the three points and moved above Woking and Grays Athletic who both failed to win.
Midfielder Adriano Rigoglioso opened the scoring in the 18th minute after a neat pass by Alex Lawless put him through on goal.
The lead was doubled just 15 minutes later when striker Andrew Mangan slotted the ball home from inside the penalty area to stamp Rovers' dominance on the game.
Although Barrow managed to pull a goal back through hitman David Brown on the stroke of half-time, it would turn out to be nothing but a consolation as they failed to fight their way back into the game in the second half.
The result means that Darren Sheridan's men are now just one point ahead of Rovers, two places above the relegation zone.
