Forest Green 1-0 Gateshead
Forest Green moved out of the relegation zone at the expense of Gateshead after a 1-0 win took them a point above their opponents in the league.
Former Arsenal striker Isaiah Rankin scored the only goal of the match in the second half to ensure his side secured three points in front of the New Lawn faithful.
Steven Richardson could have given Gateshead the lead in the 54th minute but his attempt drifted wide of the right upright.
Rovers' Rankin came close to scoring with a powerful effort before getting on the end of strike partner Tomi Ameobi's cross to put his side ahead.
Graeme Armstrong had an effort from 20 yards tipped onto the crossbar and out for a corner in the 89th minute to give the home side a late scare, but Rankin's goal proved enough at the final whistle.
