Forest Green v York City

Forest Green Rovers will be aiming to halt a four-match winless streak when play-off chasing York City make the trip to the New Lawn on Saturday afternoon.

The relegation-threatened Gloucestershire outfit have faced a tough run of fixtures over the past month and face another stern test with the visit of Foyle's Minstermen.

Rovers boss David Hockaday will have to make do without the services of Craig Rocastle after the non-contract midfielder joined MLS side KC Wizards on a trial basis.

Defender Lee Ayres is still on the treatment table with a hip injury, but skipper Mike Fowler is expected to keep his starting place after suffering no ill effects following his return from a long-term ankle injury.

York City boss Martin Foyle is sweating on the fitness of top scorer Richard Brodie, who is eligible to play following a three-match suspension.

Foyle told the York Press: "We have missed Richard Brodie's energy and ability to get in behind teams but he's picked up a bit of a calf injury in training because we've been pushing him to make sure he's ready and we'll have to see how he is for Saturday."

However, fellow frontman Richard Pacquette is pushing for a starting berth after coming off the bench to net a goal against Barrow in midweek.

Foyle added: "I was pleased for Richard. He stuck his backside in and got down the sides of Barrow, which we have been working on.

"We've got to get that front-line right because it makes things tick and gives you the chance to score goals."
