Forest Green v Bath City

Forest Green Rovers will brimming with confidence when they take on Bath City at the New Lawn on Saturday afternoon.

David Hockaday's charges notched up a 4-3 win at Hayes and Yeading on Tuesday and they will be eager for a repeat performance against Adie Britton's troops.

Hockaday told Thisisgloucestershire: "I'm delighted Bath and Newport County are in the league.

"I know the people there, they work very hard.

"It's great to have local derbies. Great for the fans, great from a travel point of view and a gate point of view.

"Players want to play in front of the biggest crowds and we'll have a great atmosphere on Saturday."

Rovers will go into the tie minus the services of Jared Hodgkiss, who remains sidelined and Ross Dyer and Scott Bartlett are set to undergo a late fitness test.

Meanwhile, Britton is pleased with the way his team has played so far in the Blue Square Bet Premier and he is confident the result will start going their way.

He told the Bath Chronicle: "I think we can put the result down to experience," said Britton, who employed a defensive 5-4-1 formation against the league's big spenders.

"We have only been playing at this level for 12 days and we have learned a fantastic amount already. I am pleased with how quickly we have got into our stride and in terms of performances I can have no complaints."
