Kidderminster 4-2 Stevenage

Kidderminster Harriers produced an impressive display to come from two goals down to record a 4-2 home win over play-off rivals Stevenage.

The home crowd were stunned into silence in the seventh minute when Boro took the lead after Lee Boylan headed home when he got on to the end of a Steve Morrison cross.

Harriers fought their way back into the game, but they had a hard time trying to break down the visitors' defence and instead of finding an equaliser they found themselves two goals down in the 22nd minute when Micthell Cole capitalised on a poor clearance from Adam Bartlett.

However, the game was turned on its head just two minutes later when Boro midfielder Darren Murphy was given his marching orders after a clumsy two-footed challenge on Russ Penn.

Harriers boss Mark Yates then made what turned out to be an inspired substitution in the 36th minute when he brought on winger Martin Brittain for Darryl Knights.

Brittain had an immediate impact and the home fans were given something to shout about just before the break after Matthew Barnes-Homer headed home from a cross by the midfielder.

Harriers then equalised just after the interval through another headed goal, this time by Russ Penn, when he dived to meet a fantastic cross from Brittain in the 49th minute.

The home side made the man advantage count again, in the 57th minute, when Justin Roberts pounced on Lee Baker's through ball to give his side the lead.

Brittain then rounded off his man-of-the-match performance when he blasted the ball into the back of the net just five minutes later following a good run and cross from McPhee.

Kidderminster bookings: Penn.

Stevenage bookings: Laird.

Certainly one of the better grounds in the League. On one side is the all seated covered Main Stand, which looks quite impressive.
