Max Porter

Stevenage v Rushden

Stevenage Borough will look to put their indifferent start to the campaign behind them when they host Rushden & Diamonds on Saturday afternoon.

Boro will be able to call upon Scott Laird, but there are doubts surrounding the fitness of Chris Day, who has a thumb problem.

If Day is unable to feature then Ashley Bayes will deputise.

Charlie Griffin is also rated as a doubt and will more than likely sit out the clash with Chris Beardsley getting the nod.

Rushden have concerns of their own with Kurt Robinson and striker Sam Smith both rated as doubts, although they are expected to make the squad on matchday.

Max Porter is also doubtful and will require a late fitness test ahead of kick off.

Club Profile
Certainly one of the better grounds in the League. On one side is the all seated covered Main Stand, which looks quite impressive.
