Colin Little

Altrincham 2-2 York

A brace from Colin Little was not enough to see off the challenge of York as Altrincham surrendered a two-goal lead to the Minstermen.

The first-half proved to be an open affair, but it took until the 41st minute for the first goal.

Little was on hand to hand the home side a half-time lead when he drilled home a Ryan Toulson cross.

Little made it 2-0 in the 52nd minute when he was set up again by Toulson in what was nearly a carbon copy of the opener.

The home side were made to pay for their inability to defend a lead when Martyn Woolford stole in to find the net from an Emmanuel Panther pass in the 63rd minute.

Two-minutes later the scores were level, when Woolford again converted a Panther cross.

Neither side could find a winning goal as the final 20 minutes turned out to be a rather dire affair.
